Creative Process Work

The creative process presents particular challenges that can be explored through movement and embodiment practices. I offer workshops and individual sessions to exploring the following:

  • sustaining creative connection to the unconscious
  • balancing community and solitude in creative work
  • being able to enter and sustain states of unknowing
  • protecting the psyche from criticism and distraction
  • working with rigidity, blocks and avoidance patterns as aspects of the life of the psyche
  • freeing the breath of inspiration
  • cultivating fluidity-grounding and supporting expression as it sequences from impulse to gesture, vocalization and language
  • staying grounded in oneself and one’s authentic process and language

This work is suitable for beginning and experienced explorers of creativity, and art-makers working in any medium.
