Do you take insurance?
I am licensed as a professional counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland. Check with your insurance company to see if they cover mental health services provided by licensed counselors. In other words, see if 'Counselors" are listed along with social workers, psychologists, etc. Many insurance companies do cover services provided by counselors. I am not on any networks, so you need to know if you are covered for out-of-network providers.
If your insurance company covers your sessions with me, you are still expected to pay me at the time of your session. I will then give you a statement for you to submit to your insurance company. They will reimburse you directly.
