Movement Explorations
I offer small classes and individual sessions in which we explore ways to feel more grounded, centered, alive and empowered. The classes and sessions are a chance to shake out, move, and experiment. We play with movement to recover some of the freedom and pleasure our bodies can give us. Each person has an opportunity to learn more about his or her body patterns, reduce anxiety, and create more feeling of wellbeing.
The movement explorations are informed by various disciplines including bioenergetics, developmental movement (the work of BodyMind Centering) and the formative process work of Stanley Keleman. The explorations can be an illuminating complement to other ongoing practices such as yoga.
